Redirected Desktop and GPP shortcuts

Hi all,

 

I want to use one redirected desktop for all users, but add on additional shortcuts in certain locations using GPP. Is there a setting that will make these work together or does the redirected desktop take on sole deployment? As currently that is what it is doing.

We've added shortcuts via Computer Configuration > Preferences > Shortcuts before and that's worked alright with redirected folders on a computer-level. The same principle applies if you do it on user-level as well. If you select "All User's Desktop" that normally works alright with our settings that we've got configured. If you require a more complex solution such as applying user settings on computer-level then you could use Group Policy Loopback Processing. (Used with us on our RDS Server)

I think I'm going down the road of GPP shortcuts with Item level targeting. That seems to be working for me now.
