[sims] Admission Groups

Hey folks

 

We would like to add data to our admission groups (entry exams etc) I'm just wondering if when I assign a template to such a group - who can see this marksheet, and can the people who see them be changed anywhere?

Try it, and the marksheet might find a default owner beside it, in the template listing. I've got a feeling groups like that can't be assigned supervisors, so it might only be accessible to admins / assessment managers.

 

Edit: just a thought, if you pay for the admissions module, i'm pretty sure that has a section to allow you to record assessment scores, and creates this link. So perhaps that is where the control stems from. So I'd imagine if you don't have the module licensed and are just using the default features, it won't be possible without a workaround.

I did try it and the group has no name next to it; is listed under "No owner"

Raised a call- they default to "No Owner" and only assessment user groups permissioned people can see them, as suspected.

 

However - the workaround I'll use is changing the effective membership date on the marksheets to pull through anyone who has been assigned into that curriculum/pastoral structure, thus enabling, just, the relevant people to see the new intake groups.
