At the moment all are servers our on a different vLAN to desktop devices.

Eventually we will put all servers on their own vLAN their is no reason not to.

So each server will have its own VLAN or they will all be on the same one?

I'd probably put all servers on the same vLAN unless anything special or any traffic that needs to be on same vlan for some reason.

At home I have a seperate vLAN jus for servers and this is on a different vLAN to the firewall and I have zero issues.

We have multiple vlans, with our servers on their own vlan. This minimise the effects of a broadcast storm, to only the vlan with the loop, and not the servers.

Put all your servers on a different VLAN to all other services, with the exception of servers that are open to the public like web servers, mail servers which need to sit on a separate VLAN (DMZ)
