Sherston - Mission Control v2 locking up

This is an odd one but could anyone with this software title please check to see if your copy is now locking up as soon as you select anything from the initial options screen.

 

I got this problem reported about a week ago and thought it must be a Flash or similar player problem but I've now found the exact same issue is evident at all my other schools too.

 

Anyone else able to repeat or offer suggestions on possible clues...

 

Sherston sent me the latest version and that's made no difference so I'm a wee bit stuck.

 

EDIT:

Just to add..

- latest versions of flash and shockwave installed via MSI

- tested on local server and a couple of workstations

- tested on two seperate sites

 

About the only thing that's changed is the version of flash, etc... and win-updates and part of me is wondering if something got broken there.

Are you running a CC3 network?

 

I have had the same problem with Sherston's 'Email detectives' and have no idea what is causing it!!

Not on a CC3, just a standard win2k3 network with XP clients... Talked to tech support again today and their latest suggestion has been sound drivers which is on my list. However they claim they have no other tickets with anything like the same issues so please raise one with them because I don't think I'm alone here.
