exchange 2013 and outlook 2013/2016

Hi everyone

 

just wondering if anyone has come across this issue before or know of a fix, I have set the cache level for emails to 12 months on all the clients mailboxes within outlook because I thought that when it came to an email older than 12 months you could click the "click here for more emails on server". The issue I have seen is that the outlook client does say more emails are available on the exchange/server but it doesn't show a click here to view or click here to search on exchange link. The link from what I can see only appears if you change the setting from 12 months to ALL let it download a full cache of the users emails and then switch it back to 12 months.

 

I am in the process of running exchange CU11 but even after looking over the fixes it didn't mention anything about this so I wondered if anyone else had seen this issue before?
