EduGeek Minecraft - 1.9 Vanilla Server Details

There is now a Minecraft 1.9 server up and running.

 

Server address: mc.edugeek.net:25566

 

No special requirements beyond using version 1.9!

 

To be whitelisted, please edit your profile on here - its at the bottom of the page, and it'll be automatically added to any and all EduGeek Minecraft servers. Server will update whitelist every 6 hours at 7:30 and 1:30.

Hmm, I'm getting "You are not white-listed on this server"; I have updated my Edugeek profile earlier this morning - Any ideas?

Just noticed that @sllorep! Just manually reloaded the whitelist, and you're listed as being there. Will look at my integration tool to see why it hasn't whitelisted properly.

OK. Auto whitelisting fixed. Changed how often it happens as we've got quite a number of people on the whitelist now.

It kept kicking me off of MC through some Java error, a bit of googling and it turns out that I needed to Set:- In-Game Options > Video settings > Use VBO's: On

Not exactly sure what that does (not played MC for about 6months-1year, so i've never seen that option), but without that turned on, it wouldn't let me play on the server.

As no-one has used this in a couple of weeks, I've turned it off.

Hmm, I did try several times but it always had a red cross through the server. I had assumed that you already closed it down. Oh well.
