Trying to remove KB3114717 from our win7 machines (it's a bad office2k13 update)

The update is clearly installed but wusa says it isn't ... What am I missing here?

What do you get when you type either of these commands...

dir /b %windir%\servicing\Packages\Package_for_KB3114717*.mum

dism /online /get-packages /format:table|find "KB3114717"

If you do get a result, you could use the DISM to remove it...

dism /online /norestart /remove-package  /packagename:Microsoft-Windows........KB3114717~......

You'll naturally have to replace the correct packagename in the DISM command above

Improved dir command

Here's a quick script to remove a package, if it exists...

  @echo off

set pkgList=
for /f "tokens=1" %%G in ('DISM /online /get-packages /format:table^|find "KB3114717"') do set pkgList=%pkgList% /packagename:%%G

REM Remove the echo before dism to issue the command automatically
if NOT "%pkgList%"=="" echo DISM /online /norestart /remove-package %pkgList%

Thanks both. I thought I'd already checked the DISM packages and set a script to remove, but the update was still present on some machines. I'll have another look tomorrow and test your suggestions.

I don't get a result for either which is odd... Knew I had already tried DISM /online /get-packages and it wasn't in the list. Any alternative?

OK think I've finally got it removed. This is the script I used.

msiexec.exe /package {90150000-0011-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE} MSIPATCHREMOVE={67F564FF-2A7E-45B9-A2F4-2D0BFE134F46} /quiet

Had to search the registry to find the uninstall string
