Some students are uploading video clips and movies to Google drive, then log into their own personal accounts and download and watch them in lessons.

As we need to allow them access for uploading/downloading school work is there any way of applying restrictions on what they can do ?

Obviously it really is a classroom behaviour issue as we cant monitor every student.

We have a palo alto firewall.

You could use File Server Resource Manager to restrict the file size they can keep in their MyDocuments and specify which file types they can store there.

Good idea, we've recently been cracking down on what students can have on their shared drives.

While backing up past students files we were finding whole movies and mp3 collections!
