Princethorpe College is a co-educational day school of 850 pupils with a Junior School, Crackley Hall, located in nearby Kenilworth with 230 pupils. The two schools make up The Princethorpe Foundation.

 

We have a vacancy for an IT Engineer role which is being introduced to help support our current infrastructure and to help implement new services.

The main duties will evolve around working with Hyper V server, 2012R2 based servers, HP 10GB switching and infrastructure, System center 2012R2, and domain client image deployments.

Interested candidates should have a good understanding of networking with server 2012 R2, AD, Windows 7+, and image management and deployment.

A working knowledge of SC2012R2 is beneficial.

Good communication skills are also important together with good organisation and the ability to work independently and also collaboratively as part of a team.

Relevant experience, initiative, discretion, flexibility and familiarity with the world of IT systems within education would all be very strong recommendations.

The IT Engineer will report to the Foundation ICT Manager and will be based at Princethorpe College with some duties at Crackley Hall School.

 

The salary range will be £20 - £30K per annum, dependent on experience. There may be the possibility for a second in department responsibility for the right candidate.
