Old Equipment

Just wondering if anyone knows a company that will buy old equipment.

 

A lot of the obsolete/broken equipment we have is collected free of charge by a recycling company. However I have over 100 MSI thin client machines and the same amount of access points that I was hoping I could sell.

Always wondered this myself however, did brief research and for amount offered was not worth my time.

 

They asked for a heck of a lot of info for each piece of equipment.

 

Let me know how you get on as would be interested to see if this has evolved since i first looked.

You can also throw the entire lot on eBay Buy It Now with Best Offer and put them all on a pallet. Job done!

Some Recycling companies do pay, but only if the equipment has a reasonable chance of actually making some decent money.

 

The costs to them of their "Free" collection are not insignificant.

 

 

I used "Northern Realisations" on one job and reclaimed about 10K on some PC's but anything over 3yrs old was considered too old.
