Visio Doors...?

I've got a problem in Visio.

I'm trying to put a door in a gap between two walls, but it seems to snap and intrude into one of the walls?

 

I've tried turning off snapping/gluing but still does the same.

PS - I'm assuming Visio is the way to go to draw network maps etc.

Tried dropping the door onto a solid wall (it should create the gap itself)?
