The actual problem recently was caused centrally by the app developers I think ( @ZeroHour ?) and certainly affected another forum I have... that app is 7.1.21 (Build 21400029. Base on 30550006) I have had a report through the other forum of someone who is also finding that notifications still aren't working. We may need to try and compare that person and you! Thread, tag and message notifications are missing. PM notifications work ok for me. They are the only ones I have turned on so can't comment about the others.

I get the notification, but it doesn’t appear on the notifications tab and using the notification to open the app doesn’t take me into whatever has caused the notification.

App version is 5.2.137 build 200324. Have you looked in the Push notifications section son the settings menu? I had the recommendations ticked. Since taking the tick out i don't get the random notifications over night now.

I've used the app since then, but today it is crashing. I've granted it all the permissions again, rebooted, cleared data, uninstalled / reinstalled etc. The device was also recently upgraded to oreo. attached is a crash log from before the resets and after. I have deleted the app and restarted the device before re-installing but no change. 1
ADMaster Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 When the apps data was cleared there was a brief message before the crash. I was able to get a screen shot. The app does have location permission so I don't know why its asking this. I'm glad its not just me and probably has nothing to do with me mucking with permissions. Unless you mucked with permissions too @robk 1
