An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of several School Technicians. These positions are term time only plus training days. The job purpose is to support ICT systems in Schools.

 

We require an experienced, highly motivated person with excellent communication, and customer care skills. You will be responsible on a day-to-day basis for supporting ICT systems in primary schools around North Yorkshire, the post works on timetable basis.

 

The successful applicant will undertake a wide range of ICT support duties including hardware and software configuration and working on LAN's within Schools. A good understanding of Microsoft windows operating systems would be an advantage, along with Apple products.

 

You must have previous experience in an ICT support role. Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential. You must be able to prioritise your own workload, be conscientious, well-organised, have the ability to work unsupervised and be flexible in your approach. You must respect the need for confidentiality of personal information and have knowledge of Data Protection, Equalities and Health and Safety requirements. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential as well as the ability to work as a member of a team.

 

This post requires an enhanced DBS check.
