My 2 penneth... We've experienced difficulties with some screens and the way they import/transpose SMART Notebook files into their own 'equivalent' software. We suffered because we didn't fully check this out and had some very frustrated teachers on our hands because their SMARTs would not work as they had done previously.

Perils of using closed source software, schools should really band together and pay for open source software to be written for them

This should all be covered by CFF that was started by Becta in 2009 ish - problem is how each different software interprets actions within the file or lesson within the .IWB format
