Unable to create new network in Meraki

Trying to create a new MDM network in our Meraki organisation, but the option is gone

 

We currently have a Meraki Legacy account, which should in theory allow us to have an unlimited number of devices and network although with a limited feature set. Anyone else had this? Ive contacted support but not heard anything yet.

Yes I have just noticed it says Pro. I have raised a case with their support. Definitely should be a legacy account as we have used it for years. Way before all the licencing changes came in.

FYI, top right, you have a customer number. Must be licensed. Mine doesn't. Had ours for about 18 months.

Yes, we have had some Meraki APs on our organisation before. Thats probably why. Either that or you are assigned a customer number when you open a case.

Just an update on this. We have indeed had our account status changed from Legacy to Pro for seemingly no reason at all. Really am frustrated that they have pulled the rug from under me like this without any warning or anything. The response I got from their support was upgrade to enterprise, really?!

 

This could be the final nail in the Meraki coffin for us. Time to look elsewhere.

I thought it was your package. They're doing the usual... offer a service for free then start charging when thousands rely on it, forcing them into buying it.

 

I'd ask them to downgrade you if they will..... unlikely unfortunately.

Yes very unlikely, but certainly worth a shot. Thought it was strange that it all of a sudden stopped working last week. Feel like this is the Smart Notebook fiasco all over again.I have 30+ networks on there which I could create 30 seperate Meraki accounts for, but this is then 30+ push notification certificates to look after every 12 months and every device at every school would need to be re-enrolled as you can probably appreciate thats a lot of work.

 

Ill update if I get anything else out of their support.

As suspected the new licence cant be changed. I asked why it had all of a sudden changed and that question has been completely avoided.
