Main systems in the cloud are email (office 365 and google classroom) and Website/VLE (Moodle&Google Classroom)

 

The rest is in house. No real plans to change as we're running on 100% uptime in house, Office365 on the other hand has not had 100% uptime.

 

Still 100% in-house here, Email, Website, Web Filtering. Only Cloud service is mail filtering which then sends the clean mail to our on-site mail server. No plans to go to the cloud for anything and feels more secure having control over everything than relying on third parties.

The only thing we've 'clouded' is our e-mail services, which is Office 365.

 

I can't imagine putting anything else in the cloud as I have always been sceptical about it. In one shape or form the cloud has always been around, e.g. from hosting your own website to providing e-mail services with Outlook Web Access. This new fangled cloud is nothing new. People think it's new 'cause it's only now that it's been marketed correctly.

Gmail (and increasingly Drive, Classroom and other apps, but we still have Office too), Progresso for MIS, library software. With the price change to MS licensing I suspect all but admin machines will be running Chrome OS (or similar) within 3-5 years.

GAFE here for the last 3 years, the exchange server at the time was getting creaky and with the the school focusing on iPads we decided to go GAFE (Access to files, exchange support at the time wasn't great, and o365 was in it's infancy (and awful - I tried it before GAFE), users started using drive / calendars shortly after, and new stuff like classroom is getting some use. If Google fixed the drive sync app so I could map user areas to Google drive I'd quite happily dispose of the file server - backups would become a thing of the past too.
