It's causing chaos not been able to work, Fire & Rescue are part of the same network as its a county council F&R and they cannot do anything, no training (lecture wise) as its all presentation and e learning. The only bit not affected is mobilising as its separate.

Looking likes its come in on one of the invoice type emails and someone has opened it believe it or not.

I can see a few BCP plans coming out of this for those departments that have gone electronic these days.

The emails are getting very good, but reply on mistakes by others.

I had the other day, an email "from" a company I had just dealt with, I got an email from the person at the company that handles our account, it looked official, and asked me to open an attached invoice, I almost fell for it.

About an hour later another email from the company, this time real, warning us not to open the last fake email, as one of their sales people had opened a dodgy email and this had forwarded a virus to everyone in their contact book.

Appeared as a PDF file, I did not open it to find out what it did.
