gsk Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Hi All, I was wondering if any of you had a survey that you would be willing to share or if we could come up with some relevant questions between us here. My school would like to audit how teachers feel they are at a) delivering the computing curriculum, but also b) assessing how well teachers integrate ICT into their every day teaching. My first thought was to use the computing curriculum objectives with a heading 'how confident are you in delivering the curriculum to achieve the following objectives:' but I'm completely stumped about questions to ask around general cross-curricular use of ICT.
PyROm Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Our SLT in charge of ICT across the curriculum had all teachers/staff do a GCSE level ICT test that lasted 1 hour. It showed very interesting results and individual + group training sessions were devised around the results. Asking someone how good they are at something isn't usually useful if they think they will be in trouble if they answer they don't know. If you have SLT backing it might be worth doing your survey in more of a test form to identify room for improvement rather then getting vague responses.
