IT Support Technician – North West London (URGENT)

Salary – Up to £19,750 - initial fixed term 12 months

 

 

Our client, an academy in North West London are currently looking for an IT Support Technician with a proven record of IT support, to join their current team in which you will maintain, develop and support the provision of ICT throughout the school.

 

General Responsibilities

 

· Maintenance of hardware, audio visual equipment and operating systems.

· Ordering, cataloguing, maintaining and storing all IT materials and equipment.

· Creating and maintaining department documentation, hardware and software audits, as well as implementing school policies as agreed with the Network Manager.

 

Essential Skills

 

· A minimum of 12 months experience providing 1^st/2^nd line IT support, ideally in a school

· Experience in maintaining PC’s, printers, hardware configuration, web filtering and firewalls

· Maintenance of Windows 7/10, AV equipment and imaging software (WDS and SCCM)

· Degree or equivalent in Computer Science / IT / Engineering related field

 

Desirable

 

· MIS System knowledge (preferably SIMS)

· Experience of OS X / iOS devices

· Working towards certifications in MCITP / MCSE / MCSA / Cisco CCENT / CCNA
