craig-schools Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 I was going to ask the same question.. is post-BETT flu better or worse than the killer known as M.A.N flu?
elsiegee40 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 BETT flu is worse. A good proportion of exhibitors contract it every year. I couldn't help smiling as a sickness insurance company was dishing out leaflets and packs of tissues to all the exhibitors as we left after packing up on Saturday
Dos_Box Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 I was going to ask the same question.. is post-BETT flu better or worse than the killer known as M.A.N flu? Currently sat at home with the room spinning I should hopefully be a bit better tomorrow and start to get everyone's prizes sorted out. The thing about BETT flu is that you have spent a week in a forced air environment with often many hundreds of people breathing into your face over the 4 day period so we have more than one lurgy bubbling away in our systems by the time we leave. Some years you get lucky and walk away with nothing amiss, but chances are that the following Monday will result in your waking up and going 'Urrgghhh!'

ICTDirect_Dave Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Touch wood, I escaped it this year. John here is suffering and I know a load of you guys and the other exhibitors are in a bad way. There's not a lot you can do about it unfortunately, it's a winter event with visitors from right across the globe, germs love it!
jmak Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 I met lots of helpful friendly people who I shook hands with. Was worried at the time, but seem to have escaped. Anti-bac hand gel on the essentials list for next year though
