Morning Guys,

 

Trying to factory default one of our MACs and keeps failing, having a look on our Smoothwall and this URL keeps coming back as 403 Access Denied.

Does that work for anyone else (not on SWGFL)? Not sure if it's SWGFL being silly as I know they blocked some caching servers before, or whether it's just broke

I have never been unable to rebuilt MAC books or iMAC's through a proxy, whether that is the county supplied proxy or our on site smoothwall. From my reading on this it was something to do with the fact that the MAC restore process will not function via a proxy but I was looking into this sometime ago.

Silly Apple Ended up just finding one Mac that's free, and copying the DMG file across for an upgrade and doing it that way

 

Guess we'll see if that works haha
