Solus not responding to clients

Hi, I have an issue where solus is not able to communicate with the workstations. my environment is as follows.

The network is a CC4 network. The solus server is a vanilla server in the same OU as the domain controller. Firewall on the sims server with solus on is disabled. Domain firewall on the workstations is disabled.

 

The solus agents were started with the local system accounts, I have stopped them and restarted them with the domain admin account, just in case this had anything to do with it. The services have started fine ( but they were running fine before anyway).

 

When I look at the solus console, i see that every workstation has the following error message : Connection attempt failed, connected party did not properly respond after a period of time or established connection failed microsoft host has failed to respond on ipaddress:52966

 

like i said the firewall is off, but I ran the following commands on the workstation anyway, which I found on another thread.

 

netsh firewall set notifications DISABLE

 

netsh firewall set service type = FILEANDPRINT mode = ENABLE

 

netsh firewall set portopening protocol = TCP port = 52965 name = SOLUS-3-DS

 

netsh firewall set portopening protocol = TCP port = 52966 name = SOLUS-3-AGENT

 

netsh firewall set portopening protocol = TCP port = 8739 name = SOLUS-3-AGENT-UI

 

netsh firewall set service type = REMOTEADMIN mode = ENABLE

 

unfotunately, none of this worked. so I'm still stuck. Can anyone help?

Have you tried restarting the SOLUS deployment service?

ok just come off the phone from RM.. basically even though the firewall is showing off on the GUI, if I looked in advanced firewall rules there seem to be lots of stuff added. They then remotely logged in and added the allow rule for the following ports via the cc4 console

 

TCP: 139, 52965, 52966, 8739

UDP: 137, 138
