HP 5550 jamming

Art have an HP5550 colour printer which is constantly jammed by paper wrapping itself around the fuser. A lot of the Art work at the moment looks like they are trying to turn white paper black and I don’t think the printer is coping very well. If it is just a normal colour print with lots of different colours it copes.

 

If I print 1 of these black art pieces then a plain sheet then a black Art piece it appears to cope but 2 or more black art pieces following each other then it jams again.

 

I know I can set a separator page to print between jobs which works fine if they send 5 separate jobs but is there any way to force a separator page in between each page of a 5 page document.
