DJ-1701 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or recommendations for hardware that would allow one to watch a HDMI signal on a PC. I.E., connecting a Sky box to a PC so one could watch TV full screen or in a small window depending on needs without the need of a separate TV screen.
DJ-1701 Posted January 16, 2016 Author Posted January 16, 2016 HDMI video capture card? I guess one could use a capture card, do you know if any come with a TV type program or just capture software? Sky Go? Did think about that but Sky Go is quite limited compared to a Sky Box, at least at present.
Arthur Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 It's not available to buy just yet, but Skreens would do what you want. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZUU8bxDJaM 1

XiJ Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 The new Sky Q system (when released) should do what you need. It will no doubt be $$$$$$ though. 1
Sheridan Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I bought a Samsung all in one PC for the very reason it had hdmi input, brilliant for connecting something like a ps4 and then flipping between the PC and the hdmi source! 1
