School Data Manager - iSAMS, SQL, SSRS (URGENT) - ESSEX

Salary: Up to £40,000

Including 28 days annual leave and extensive benefits

Full time position - working hours: 8:30am to 5pm daily

 

My client, a large independent school in Essex is actively seeking an experienced Data Manager to join their established ICT team. Reporting directly to the Deputy Head (staff and systems), you will be responsible of managing and developing a number of key school systems including iSAMS, Raisers Edge, Oliver and Firefly with your main focus on school data management and the use of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

 

General Responsibility / Accountability

· Maintain detailed working knowledge of MIS systems (iSAMS), Raisers Edge and Oliver.

· Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act and understand the implications for managing school data.

 

Essential skills and qualifications

· Strong technical expertise including SQL / RDBMS / MIS data management and SSRS.

· Experience of MIS data management within a school environment.

 

Desirable Skills and qualifications

· Microsoft certifications - Database Administrator, Solutions expert or Business intelligence

· Familiarity with current educational bodies and exam protocols.

· Experience in producing data for reporting an assessment.

· Experience in web design and web presented reports.
