Photoshop Error

Hi. We have a student who gets the following error when importing .jpeg .png into Photoshop cc 15:-

 

could not complete your request because it is not the right type of document

 

This only happens with one student and it happens on every PC he tries it on. It's not the file itself as he has sent the file to his teacher and she has imported it successfully using her account.

Has anybody got any ideas?
