sutton2007 Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Hey I have been trying to get eportal single signon working. Ive configured everything in the ad and the contoller but when i login to the domain usering my username which i have matched up to the eportal login i am presented with the login screen like before. has anyone set this up or come across this problem. thanks
hanel Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 I think I'm getting exactly the same problem as you are.... When I have the single sign-on system active I get a red message on the normal logging window 'The Single Sign On system has failed to locate you user details.'. Again I have everything configured correctly in the CMIS controller and have had Facility look at it. Are you able to get the linked LDAP user window up populated with the usernames from AD?

jammers Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Serco can help you with this, we got them to dial into our servers to correct it. You also have to buy the single signon LDAP option from Serco as an extra (i know this sounds silly) but check you have.
michael2k6 Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Hi, Jammers is right. If you are getting everything in but still being presented with the normal login screen it sounds to me like it isn't in your license key which is in controller. This is either because you haven't bought it or because you have in the wrong / default license key. To check, go to Server | License in the controller. It should be listed in there. If it isn't and you think you've bought it, support will be able to give you the correct license key (they will also be able to tell you what you have and haven't purchased). Hanel, i recommend you give support a call about your issue, as i think it is either something populated incorrectly or something else on your network stopping it from working. Have you raised the forrest function level to 2003 and set the schema master? Hope this helps, Michael Sanderson Technical Engineer Serco Learning
