[ms office - 2010] Converting to Office 365 across site

Good morning everyone, our school is in the process of converting to a Multi Academy Trust, at the moment our school uses an exchange 2010 server, however the school and myself want to start using office 365, can anyone direct me to some kind of guide to help me through this process, not having had anything to do with office 365 before i'm hoping some kind people on here are willing to share there knowledge and experience to help.

 

I'm aware it's cloud based, but is there a "admin" account i should have access to that will allow me to at least look at what i need to start this process over the next few months or so?

 

I believe we have had the option to use Office 365 for some time, but never got round to setting it up.
