De-Duplication Software

Got 12gb of data at home with alot of duplicates in it, any recommendations for some software to clear this up, trying to tidy up and organise the files.

Theres guides around which seem to suggest you can enable it on windows 10 via a bit of poking and prodding

My first step in tackling this kind of problem is to start with the largest files.

Using this app, APP, I list the top 100 largest files and skim through to see where there are duplicates.

 

That can also lead me to see where there are duplicate folders, which can then be deleted as necessary.

Then, I might use something like, CloneSpy, to track down the remaining duplicates - as you're probably aware, this is still a fairly tedious process

It's just for some data at home, got a folder that has got copies of folders in from some data I was given years ago, I'm just on a bit of a tidy up process going through it all. The files are around a 1mb, pictures taken back in 2005 but just want to get rid of the rubbish in them. Cheers for the recommendation will go from there.
