Zourous Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 And before you say "oh yeah, I remember take on me", that is all most people remember. Real fans will know they've produced 10 studio albums and have recently reformed for the third time.
Roberto Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I've been losing you was better than take on me... 1
Quackers Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Yeah I like them, the sun always shines on tv is my favourite , followed by Manhattan skyline and train of thought 1
Zourous Posted December 19, 2015 Author Posted December 19, 2015 Yeah, most songs to be honest were better than take on me. It's just the song that set them on their way. The sun always shines on TV has to be up there with my favourites. I like their more rocky / moody songs. Albums like scoundrel days and east of sun west of the moon were great.
Nixon77 Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 Sun always shines on TV was the best for me. You can't beat the 80's and prior stuff, modern rubbish gets on my nerves. A few gems every now and then. 1
Zourous Posted December 20, 2015 Author Posted December 20, 2015 This is a link to their last song called "butterfly butterfly (the last hurrah)" which I don't think many people will know about. It didn't turn out to be their last song, as they came back, but well worth a look if you like A-ha as the video flashes back across some of their previous hits and is quite a fitting and satisfying end (apart from turning into butterflys).
