BIOS or UEFI - New 2012r2 server

Just setting up a new 2012R2 server and one of the first options is to decide if it boots using BIOS or UEFI.

 

When I asked this question last year I was told to keep it simple and pick BIOS, is this still the case?

There's no reason not to use UEFI nowadays.

all the ones ive done recently have been uefi as if you need to change "bios" settings you can do it via dell openmanage and alter settings without having to reboot (they often wont take effect until you do but you can at least check settings without having to go down to the bios)

New HP ones I've done this year are UFEI as they support that on the G9 platform done 2012 R2 and UFEI VMware 5.5 without any issues.
