nelliott Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Morning All, We have a small number of users who are misusing the distribution groups and are sending emails to our 'All students' distribution groups. Is there any way of stopping students sending emails to the 'all students' group? Thanks in advance!
Sagima Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I don;t have O365 for email but if it's anything like exchange 2013 then open the group's properties , delivery management and in the message restriction settings set it to AllStaff (or your equivalent) or if you have heads of year that would like to be involved then set message approval in the properties and tick the box/add the approvers

gshaw Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 While you're in the Admin console look for user-created Groups if you haven't disabled it. Users can create their own collaboration spaces, great feature but also prone to some rather random content appearing too.
