crc-ict Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 Is it possible to make it so that non-staff members of Edugeek don't get Staff Area posts showing up on the homepage topics list? I always use this as my first port of call on the Edugeek site and find it a bit annoying when a lot of the posts on the list are staff-only - the titles seem tantalisingly interesting sometimes! Not really meaning to gripe - I love Edugeek, it's great - but this is just a little niggle that would be nice if it could be fixed! Keep up the good work, guys.
GrumbleDook Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 But we want to tease ... we want people to think we are doing wonderous things ... and not just lounging around at work drinking cups of tea ... I know what you mean though.
crc-ict Posted January 18, 2006 Author Posted January 18, 2006 Great stuff! Actually, I should have realised it would be. There's not much you can grumble about with Edugeek! Cheers
MkII Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 Y'know the big welcome text by D_B - i've thought that should be hidden to registered users, or at least just a small summary displayed. Its a waste of viewing space and mileage onto the already overworked 'wheel finger' [with all due respect to the almighty Box :bows dows: ]
