iPads - logging web access?

We are 1:1 with iPads now, 1200+ kids

 

Looking for ways we can track student web access on demand , we have Smoothwall filtering (LA controlled, with limited privileges..)

Not very user friendly regarding access logs .

 

Does anyone know of another way we can track internet access for iPads (by IP or Mac address) ?

Any thoughts please?

I think Future Digital (Policy Central) have, or will soon, an IOS version of their software. It's a full monitoring tool but I think it can be used for just checking web activity as well.

1. An MDM that is linked to AD, so users have to authenticate, as this is a 1:1 I do not understand at all why you would want to track via I.P.

2. A transparent filtering solution on site e.g. Lightspeed Rocket that can also filter their usage at home.
