RDS & Different DPI

Hello,

We have a RDS host set up on Server 2012 R2. We have a member of staff who requires the DPI changing on his session. We don't want this to change for everyone, just his session. The user is connecting to the RDS host from his Windows 7 x64 laptop.

 

At the moment whilst he is logged in via RDP to the RDS host, the slider for 'Change the size of all items' is greyed out, with a message at the bottom of the screen stating 'Some display settings can't be changed from a remote session.' (This is located in Cotrol Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display / Right clicking the desktop > Screen Resolution > Make text and other items larger or smaller)

 

I've attempted to do via GPP and registry settings, but it didn't work. This is the change I made in attempt to make it 150%:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\LogPixels > DWORD > 144 (http://blog.foreignkid.net/2015/05/2012-r2-window7-rds-dpi-settings/)

I have also attempted to connect to RDS from my machine (Windows 8.1 x64) with his credentials, and the option is still greyed.

 

Is there anything I can do?
