USB 3.0 XHCI drivers installation

After installing the USB 3.0 XHCI drivers the promethean board stops working.

 

1 Activboards (including 378 Pro) works well without the drivers

2 Install the drivers

3 Restart the laptop/desktop

4 login as local admin

5 Plug the board usb cable

6 Activboard driver sees that usb is plugged in, removes the red cross from icon

7 Unplug the usb cable

8 The driver icon stays the same and the red cross does not return (Normaly the red cross returns as soon as the usb cable is unplugged, indicating that usb is unplugged.)

9 The laptop desktop fails to restart or shut down

 

Has anyone had any problems after installing the USB 3.0 XHCI drivers?
