MattDLEA Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Dont know the best place to ask so feel free to move to a different section. I have been asked to look for E-safety Training to be delivered to staff? Does anyone know of best places to look for this other then the Grid? North East area?
ThatBoringBloke Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 I recently did this. £20 per head. Was common sense to me, but useful nonetheless.
IrritableTech Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 (edited) Northern Grid? If so it'll probably be Simon Finch who is one of the best eSafety trainers I've had the pleasure to listen to. If not NGfL then your local GfL should have a suitable trainer in house, or know of one they can bring in. Most independent experts will travel - Traci Good - e-Safety Training | e-Safety Training (Derbyshire), Alan McKenzie - e-Safety Training, Advice and Consultancy (Lincolnshire). They'll all deliver good quality training suitable to your requirements. Edited December 7, 2015 by IrritableTech
adennis Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Northumberland LA have an online training portal that all our new staff are being refered to to complete an online "certification" to cover us. Think it might also include the prevent stuff thats happening at the moment too. If you have a budget try South West Grid. They were receiving some European money for running training so were able to offer discounted sesions. I was at a session they ran a little while ago and I found it very informative and was worth attending and I think they said if they cam eto you they would also be able to make it specific to any issues you may have in your school/area as well.

RTay Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Catshill Learning Partnerships (www.catshill.com) run E-Safety training for staff, parents and pupils. Brett, the gentleman from this company has given training to our school staff and is excellent.
