FN-GM Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 We would send it off to Lenovo for repair and then send the bill to the parents.
adamholt1 Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 In reality though that wouldn't happen - well at the previous 2 schools I have worked at it certainly wouldn't!
Steve21 Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Does at all mine I've been at, if you know who did it Refusing IT access until it's paid for works wonders. Steve
r0cketbev Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 essentially yes all the internal componants are laptop ones, you should be able to source a screen off ebay and fit it yourselfs its about 1 hours work to swap it out. good luck

speckytecky Posted February 9, 2016 Author Posted February 9, 2016 Edugeek and you @difinity are just tops. The screen arrived lunchtime - been ages on order. I have spent an hour or so Googling to try and find the how to guide I remembered having seen. Then in a brain wave I thought, hang on have a gander at Edugeek and up pops your little beaut of an URL from my earlier query. Edugeek is a gold nugget Forum that's for sure. bHere you go. https://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/documents/pd024036
