RDS issues for all users

Hi guys

 

we have a server 2012 RDS setup.

 

we have thin clients and users log on to there areas. The user logs in ok, applies all settings, and configures personalized settings on top right hand corner. Then the screen goes blank with mouse cursor and can take up-to 3-5mins for the start menu to appear.

 

This is happening to all user accounts, even administrators. It never was this bad.

 

any ideas what it can be?

 

the new issue we having now is soon as they log in theirs issues with black screen and think profiles is not loading properly. But loads ok on a normal desktop. It seems to be loading temporary profile all the time on RDS.

 

i have noticed one thing, whenever someone logs in they get the folder named as below

 

username.backup-001

username.backup-002

username.backup-003

username.backup-004

and so on....

 

it definitely seems to be a profile issue. Either not downloading profile or uploading.

 

any ideas?
