aidans-tech Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 My first post! I'm hoping to install the free version of Visual Studio Community 2015 on around 100 machines here to fit in with the new 'Computer Science' requirements, and can't work out how to activate with an 'organisational' licence. I've installed on my workstation and tried to activate, but the only option appears to be to personally activate it ie JUST for me with my email address. Surely I'm missing something? I need each install to be used by any number of students.
liveman2 Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 As far as this goes it requires a personal email for each user and must be re-authenticated once a year. I'm not sure that it's meant for mass-deployment in an organisation. You could get around this by deploying it and asking them just to each sign up. In this case a first-use guide would probably come in handy.
