TechieTim Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Will be undertaking a project soon to roll out 30 new Windows machines. No current VL in place. What's the cheapest route to VL? AIUI, I can buy a minimum 5 qualifying products, only one of which needs to be a Windows OS (Windows 7 in this case) with the rest being Office, for example. Is that right? Never got involved with VL before, so complete newbie. Also, best forum for asking about deployment to said machines? Best/quickest/easiest method? An idiots guide, basically. TIA.
strawberry Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 The VL will need to be for all qualifying machines on site. The VL will cover your OS and possibly Server Cals, office suites and various other cals. Best thing to do is engage a VL sales expert ( I'm sure one will be along soon) . They will guide you though the process. MDT will be best for deployment.
