I have a GPO to set all student laptops to have the same customized wallpaper however 1 machine just shows as black. The GPO is obviously working but this machine is resisting. On the client, the display setting show the correct wallpaper selected. I'm at a loss. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the quick replies. The registry key is in place, the wallpaper is the standard ing0.jpg so its under 800k. I created a new user but theres no change.

Logging in as a network admin is fine. Its just the pupil logins that get it.

Silly question but is the copy of Windows licensed? I had one do that and it was because it had lost contact with it's KMS server. As soon as I repaired it, it went back to normal. Never found out why, it never displayed the not licensed warning etc, I remember we lost hours trying to fix it...

Funny enough, it wasn't licensed, (thought i'd done it!) however it is now, no change. Baffling isn't it. It was a fresh build too.
