A few students (not all) are getting an error when opening a Premier Pro project from a Network share, I'm hoping someone has seen it before and can help me.

"A disk error occurred while attempting to write the following file \\%SHARE%\%UESRNAME%\AppData\Adobe\..."

(It's really long and I've not had a chance to copy the whole thing yet.)

This is the users home folder, on a different share, on a completely different SAN. The 'AppData' folder doesn't exist. It looks like a permissions thing but if Adobe is trying to write settings shouldn't they go in the users profile not their home drive?

Have you redirected AppData? Do you have roaming profiles? Do you have quotas? What OS are the clients running, what OS are the servers running? Has this ever worked?
