woreilly Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I have a couple of users who are getting frustrated by a prompt they get which warns them their security settings might put their computer at risk. I am happy that what is set won't affect them. How can I put a setting into group policy which permanently ignores this prompt therefore it doesn't show up?I have the following set to enabled: User Config > Policies > Admin Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer > Prevent "Fix Settings" functionalityThe description of this suggests that it won't get rid of the notification bar, it will just disable the button which allows the user to "Fix Settings"Are there any other settings anyone can think of off the top of their heads to get rid of it entirely?FYI - They are a 2012 server to 32-bit windows 7 clients running IE11.
woreilly Posted November 12, 2015 Author Posted November 12, 2015 I just answered my own question. Further down the list there was "Turn off the Security Settings Check feature". I tested with the user and no prompt appeared with the setting set to enabled.
