I just set up a nifty little scheduled task tracker today using Google calendar. I thought it was about time we had one unified method of seeing scheduled tasks that were running on our network and so, using multiple calendar overlays, I can now see exactly what tasks are running at what time and on which server. We can then plan around that and since you can turn each server's overlay on and off it makes it really easy to see if anything will confict. Also, we can publish a link to that on our internal helpdesk so we can all keep track and there's no need to login. That's not a great description...cue screenshots! I'll finish populating it tomorrow, 4 more servers to go and, let's face it, it's not the most exciting job to do but when it's done, it's well worth it.
