Is there a way of removing the ability to add behaviour and achievement points whilst in register view. We're having an issue with staff not completing the information via this route so want to make them go into each student and complete the required information rather than using the shortcut.

Yep, in SIMS go to Tools > Setups > Behaviour Management > Behaviour Type / Achievement Type and in each type untick the 'Include in Register' box.
