dry Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 £199.... tempting. About a month ago I got my first Android handset since I switched to Windows Phone 3 years ago and my reaction is very 'meh'. I thought Android had come a long way from the random freezes/crashes, apps closing randomly, poor energy efficiency etc that I experienced before switching to Windows Phone but apparently not. If it wasn't for lack of major apps, I'd switch back to Windows Phone now. I think I'll hold off until we get some more Lumia Windows 10 devices released at an appealing price point.

jonbd Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 I got mine delivered yesterday. Very happy with it so far, although there is a currently a bug in the software that stops SD cards working properly. I have been using an LG G3, but hate their software, (and can't get any custom ROMs to be stable) and from my brief time with the X, it's a much nicer phone to use. Will see how battery life etc goes over the next few days! Also came with a case in the box and a pre-fitted screen protector which is a nice touch.

abillybob Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 What's the trick? I cant view the website here? Tested and this works - just follow these steps. Have a OnePlus account? Go to step 1. Don't have a OnePlus account? Go to step 2 and skip step 6. 1) If you already have an account, go ahead and login before claiming your invite and change your email address to some other address. Hint: if you use gmail you can use + aliases. E.g. if you have [email protected], you can use [email protected]. 2) Create a new account using the email address attached to your OPT invite. 3) Claim the OPT invite. 4) Change the email address on the new account with the invite to the recipient's email address. 5) Tell the recipient to claim their account (and invite) by using the 'Forgot your password' feature. 6) [ONLY IF YOU DID STEP 1] Go and log back into your original account and change the email address back to your normal address. All done! That apparently bit confusing though but loads of people have said it works.
