Sheridan Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I'm trying to get Meraki working with some ipads, so I created a basic profile (wifi) to setup the ipads and get them online. Nothing else is in this profile The ipads connect through the wireless fine, and then I go to meraki to pull down the management profile - again this works fine and the Apps start to install. But it will not install any of the profiles/restrictions and meraki logs an error: Code: 4001 Domain: MCInstallationErrorDomain Profile Installation Failed Code: 4017 Domain: MCInstallationErrorDomain Remove the profile “Profile Name” before installing this profile. Am I missing something here - if I remove the Profile, the ipad lose its connection and therefor meraki loses it, with it on and connected meraki is telling me to remove it!?
Sheridan Posted October 23, 2015 Author Posted October 23, 2015 I don't know if anyone else has seen this problem, but if I apply a profile with no restrictions via Meraki then it works - add the restrictions (which is half the point) and it fails applying the profile
Sheridan Posted October 26, 2015 Author Posted October 26, 2015 Its must be a firewall issue here - if I hotspot to a phone it works ok - but if I check our firewall I can't see anything being blocked I've setup the firewall rules according the cisco's instructions - has anyone else done this, and what ports/addresses did you have to open?
