fiza Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 In our setup Youtube is blocked for students. Teachers are using Google Classroom and one has uploaded a video for students to view in Classroom. When the students try to play the video they get blocked as I think it is using the youtube video player to play the video even though the video is not on youtube but is uploaded into Classroom. Is there any way to get the video to play with something else other than youtube?
CyberNerd Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Is it uploaded in Drive? I know video plays and shares fine in drive but wasn't aware that it went via youtube.

Arthur Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 The video player looks similar to the one used on YouTube, but videos uploaded to Drive are accessed through the docs.google.com domain (at least they are for me).
TomClay Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Hi Fiza, Did you get a workaround or answer for this? We too block YouTube but would like to use the video share in Google Classroom. Thanks, Tom
