[sims] Whole School Attendance Reporting by Vulnerability

Hi All

 

I am trying to run an attendance report to give me the whole school attendance percentage for children who are SEN, LAC etc.

Using SIMS inbuilt "report by vunerability" however returns to me an attendance report broken down by register group (which i do not want)

Is it possible to get the whole school Attendance% for these criteria?

are you using group analysis by STAR field?

 

the group type is at the top, defaults to reg group, but you can change it to whole school

I am, however it is still breaking them up by register group

you have to change it to whole school, pick your STAR field, then hit search again - then it will give you "Whole School Selected" in the description field below.

That's what I did and it is still breaking them down by reg code. I'm honestly stumped as it should not be behaving this way

@dhol91 - I can't re-create your issue - when I run it it gives me the whole school, not broken down by reg groups - are you sure the bottom part of the screen is showing Whole School Selected under description?

 

If not, you're missing out the part where you hit search after you change the group type.

I've attached screenshots of what I'm doing, no matter what i do it always breaks it down by reg

 

Edit: It does say whole school detected beneath this, I just cut it out by accident

Have me at a loss mate - I've just done it again, and the only way I get the reg groups to populate when I have Whole School as the group type, is when I don't hit search to clear the reg groups and bring up the whole school.

 

As for Phil's suggestion of using discover, it would work, but it wouldn't be a nice little report that would print out, you'd have to do some data entry into excel or something.
